About the Role

We are looking for a talented UI/UX Designer to create intuitive and delightful user experiences across our platform. You will work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to research, design, and ship features that users love.

From wireframes and prototypes to high-fidelity mockups and design system components — you will own the visual and interaction design of UMVA's web applications, landing pages, and marketing sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design user interfaces for web applications, landing pages, and marketing sites
  • Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups in Figma
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and synthesize findings into design decisions
  • Evolve and maintain our design system and component library
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure consistent, pixel-perfect implementation
  • Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders
  • Stay current with UI/UX trends, tools, and accessibility best practices
Requirements
  • 2+ years of UI/UX design experience (web and mobile)
  • Proficiency in Figma (components, auto layout, prototyping, variables)
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design process and final deliverables
  • Understanding of responsive design, accessibility (WCAG), and design systems
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS is a strong plus
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to give and receive constructive design feedback
