Newly Released Police Body-Cam Footage Reveals FBI Deployment Plans on January 6

The revelation of undercover government operatives at the January 6, 2021 protests in Washington D.C. continues to shed light on the extent of government involvement in the events surrounding the U.S. Capitol attack.

Bodycam footage from the protests has revealed that police officers overheard saying 350 FBI agents were in the crowd, sparking questions about the true number of federal, state, and local government operatives working undercover on that day.

Recent court documents have revealed that the Biden Department of Justice has admitted to at least 40 undercover operatives with the Proud Boys, while the FBI has admitted to running operatives inside The Oath Keepers and having as many as eight informants inside the Proud Boys organization in the months leading up to the attack.

Police officers stand outside the U.S. Capitol during the January 6, 2021, riot, with the Capitol dome illuminated in the background under a cloudy sky.

The number of government operatives involved in the protests continues to grow, with the DOJ admitting to 40 undercover agents in addition to the 40 already revealed in connection with the Proud Boys, bringing the total to 80.

Furthermore, another 20 undercover agents have been revealed, bringing the total to 100 or more, raising questions about how much federal investigators were able to learn from them before and after the attack.

A recent motion filed by a Proud Boy defense lawyer has revealed that the number of DC Metro undercovers continues to grow, with the total now exceeding 100.

Undercover government operatives have been spotted on bodycam footage, including a bicycle driver who stood beside the "Restricted Area" green fencing on the west side of the U.S. Capitol, speaking to other undercovers before being joined by additional police officers.

As public discourse around these events continues to unfold, the contradictions between Director Wray's claims and the facts revealed by court documents and bodycam footage remain a major point of contention, leaving it to be seen how these contradictions will be addressed and what consequences they will have for Director Wray and the FBI as a whole.
