Saudi Arabian Oil Co. will open its first branded gasoline station in the Philippines on July 16, with the site located in Parañaque City.
The launch follows Aramco’s acquisition of a 25% equity stake in Unioil Petroleum Philippines last year, marking the company’s re‑entry into the Philippine market after a 17‑year hiatus.
Under the partnership, Unioil will distribute Aramco fuel brands and Valvoline‑branded lubricants across the country.
Aramco executives have described the investment as part of a broader strategy to expand the retailer’s network and strengthen its position in high‑growth markets.
The Saudi firm previously held a 40% share in Petron Corp. after the Philippine government’s privatization of the oil company, but later divested that interest.
