The Creamline Cool Smashers are set to face a new challenge in the PVL on Tour as they take on the Nxled team in Ilagan City, Isabela on Wednesday.
The 11-time champions will be missing several key players, including Bernadeth Pons, Jen Nierva, and Jia de Guzman, who have been called up to represent the national team.
Pangs Panaga, a member of the Aichi-bound Alas pool, has joined the club to help fill the gap, but Creamline's solid core of Alyssa Valdez, Jema Galanza, Tots Carlos, Bea de Leon, Michele Gumabao, and Kyle Negrito will be relied upon to lead the team to victory.
In contrast, the Nxled squad will be fielding a full team, led by Brooke Van Sickle, MJ Phillips, and Myla Pablo, and will be looking to make a strong impression in their first match.
Meanwhile, ZUS Coffee and Akari will also be without key players when they face off at 4 p.m., with Thea Gagate out for the Thunderbelles and Mars Alba and Justine Jazareno missing for the Chargers.
The games are set to take place in Ilagan City, Isabela, with Creamline looking to maintain their winning streak despite the absence of several key players.
