The Toronto Police Service is seeking the public's assistance in identifying a suspect after a parking enforcement officer was injured in a hit-and-run collision in downtown Toronto.
The incident occurred on Monday afternoon in the Queens Quay E.-Richardson St. area, where a parking officer had issued a ticket to a white 2017 Mercedes-Benz C63S convertible.
The driver allegedly returned to the vehicle, argued with the officer, and then drove away, striking the officer and another vehicle before fleeing westbound on Queens Quay.
The officer suffered minor injuries and police are now looking for a male with a medium build and shoulder-length hair in braids, wearing a black hat, white T-shirt, black shorts, and white shoes at the time of the incident.
Anyone with video footage of the area or incident is asked to contact police at 416-808-1900, or send information anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 416-222-8477 or 222tips.com.

A pedestrian, a 38-year-old Mississauga woman, was struck and killed by a white Mercedes sedan travelling eastbound on Eglinton Avenue at a high rate of speed.
The driver failed to stop and fled from the scene, leaving behind a vehicle with extensive damage to the front end and windshield.
