A 35‑year‑old man has pleaded guilty to 19 counts of voyeurism, bringing his total offences to 26. The charges cover a period from 2020 to 2025, during which he spied on women in Islington by filming through their windows.
The defendant recorded women inside their homes during the early hours of the morning, including instances when they were undressed. He used a mobile phone to capture the footage, storing hundreds of images and videos in a hidden folder.
Neighboring residents reported seeing a man dressed entirely in black and wearing a balaclava walk outside the victim’s property while holding a phone. The incident was captured on a doorbell camera, and a similar event was later recorded when another woman confronted him.
During a routine patrol, police officers located the suspect outside a third property. A search of his phone revealed a large collection of the recorded material, confirming the pattern of predatory behaviour.
The guilty plea was entered at Highbury Corner Magistrates Court. The defendant will be sentenced at Snaresbrook Crown Court at a later date.
