Condor is expanding its presence in the US market by introducing a new nonstop service between Chicago's O'Hare International Airport and Frankfurt Airport. The airline will operate daily seasonal flights between the two destinations, starting on May 14, 2027, and running through September 12, 2027.
This new route marks Condor's 12th gateway in the US and Canada, further solidifying its expansion across North America. Chicago is seen as an ideal addition to the airline's network, offering opportunities for both leisure and business travel. With this new service, Condor is providing its guests with convenient access to one of the most important metropolitan regions in the US, as well as seamless connections to Europe via its hub in Frankfurt.
Condor will face competition from United Airlines and Lufthansa, which both offer daily service on the route. United Airlines operates out of O'Hare, while Lufthansa uses Frankfurt as its hub. Despite the competition, Condor is confident in its ability to offer a unique experience to travelers. The airline's Airbus A330neo aircraft will be used for this route, featuring lie-flat seats with direct aisle access in business class, as well as additional legroom and upgraded amenities in premium economy.
The launch of this new route coincides with Condor's move to Frankfurt's new Terminal 3, which promises to offer shorter walking distances and more efficient connections between long-haul and European flights. This is expected to enhance the overall travel experience for Condor's passengers.
