A 51-year-old Toronto man is accused of touching a young person sexually while working as a Chinese language tutor. The alleged victim, who is under the age of 16, came forward claiming their Chinese language tutor had "touched them for a sexual purpose" during lessons on multiple occasions between January and July 2026.
York Regional Police say the suspect was arrested on July 22. The accused, whose name has been released, is now facing multiple charges. Investigators are concerned about the possibility of other alleged victims, prompting them to release a photo of the accused in an effort to gather more information.
