The Lake District music festival Kendal Calling has been interrupted after an individual fell ill at the event.
According to eyewitness accounts, the incident occurred at the 'Big Wheel' on the festival site, although the exact circumstances are still unclear.
Potential witnesses who were in the area of the 'Calling Out' tent or the 'Big Wheel' are now being sought by officers.
A spokesperson for the festival said that the individual was immediately attended to by on-site security and medical teams, who provided emergency care at the scene.
Paramedics and medical personnel were also in attendance and did everything they could to help the individual.
The festival, which began on Thursday, has featured a range of acts including Biffy Clyro, the Libertines, and Gabrielle.
Wolf Alice and Primal Scream are due to perform on the second day of the event.
