A major concern has been raised at the Kendal Calling music festival after an incident involving a festival-goer who became unwell.
Potential witnesses who were in the area of the ‘Calling Out’ tent or the ‘Big Wheel’ on the festival site are now being sought by officers.
A spokesperson for the festival said that the individual was immediately attended to by on-site security and medical teams as soon as they became unwell.
Paramedics and medical personnel provided emergency care at the scene and did everything they could to help.
The festival organizers have expressed their deepest sympathies to the individual’s family, friends, and loved ones at this incredibly difficult time.
The Lake District music festival began on Thursday and featured a lineup of notable acts, including Biffy Clyro, the Libertines, and Gabrielle.
Wolf Alice and Primal Scream are both scheduled to perform today.
