The cast and crew of the hit show "Heated Rivalry" are asking fans to respect their boundaries as production on the second season begins in Toronto. The show's official Instagram account posted a statement urging fans to keep their distance and allow the cast and crew to focus on their work.
The statement, shared on the show's Instagram account and the production company's page, expressed gratitude to fans for their support and enthusiasm. It also promised that the upcoming season would be "worth the wait." Filming for Season 2 has already begun, with stars Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie spotted in Toronto in recent days.
The first season of the romantic sports drama was a massive hit, following the secret relationship between rival pro hockey players and propelling both actors into superstardom since its November 2025 premiere. However, the newfound fame has also led to tense encounters with some fans, who have been accused of being overly aggressive and creepy. Williams was recently filmed confronting a group of alleged autograph dealers during Paris Fashion Week, accusing them of following him to his residence.
Storrie has also had to set boundaries with fans, recently shutting down a request for a selfie by saying, "Sorry I'm not doing photos right now, but it was really nice to meet you." The show is based on the Rachel Reid book of the same name and is expected to premiere its second season in April 2027.
Season 2 will be taken from "The Long Game," the sixth book in Reid's "Game Changers" series. The show's cast and crew are looking forward to bringing the new season to life, but are asking fans to be respectful of their boundaries and allow them to focus on their work.
