The US military has released unclassified footage of its latest strikes against Iran, which took place on Wednesday evening. The strikes were carried out by US forces and targeted various Iranian military installations.
According to reports, US forces struck approximately 90 Iranian military targets, including air defense systems, coastal surveillance assets, missile and drone storage sites, naval capabilities, and military logistics infrastructure along Iran's coastline.
The latest strikes follow a similar operation carried out the previous night, in which CENTCOM forces hit around 80 Iranian military targets, including over 60 Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps small boats. These actions were taken in response to Iran's violation of a ceasefire by attacking three commercial vessels navigating the Strait of Hormuz.
The US military remains on high alert and is prepared to execute further operations as directed. The recent strikes are part of a broader effort to impose costs on Iran for its actions and to protect US interests in the region.
Earlier on Wednesday, President Trump stated that the US would launch further strikes against Iran, saying "we're going to hit them hard tonight." He also claimed that the strikes were in retribution for Iran's bombing of ships the previous day, warning that any future incidents would result in an even stronger response.
The escalation of tensions between the US and Iran began on Tuesday, when Tehran struck three ships, including a Qatari natural gas vessel. The incident sparked a strong reaction from the US, which has been working to protect shipping lanes and prevent further Iranian aggression.
