For weeks, the notion that the Iranian regime can be negotiated with has been a topic of debate. However, it appears that President Trump has come to a different conclusion. The clerics running Iran don't want peace; they want time to rebuild, rearm, and threaten America and Israel once again.
The Iranian regime has a history of lying, cheating, and stalling. Every day they are given is another day to regroup and continue their aggressive tactics. This is not a viable option for negotiating a peaceful resolution.

While there may be short-term consequences to taking action against the Iranian regime, such as increased oil prices and a wobbly stock market, markets recover and freedom lasts. History has shown that those who finish what they start are rewarded, rather than those who leave evil standing.
Democrats have once again demonstrated that principles mean little when power is at stake. Their latest effort to force a candidate out of the Maine Senate race is a prime example of this. If their intentions were genuine, they would apply the same standards to their own candidates.
