Authorities confirmed that no injuries were reported after a ground collision involving two aircraft at Ninoy Aquino International Airport on Tuesday.
The incident occurred while a Saudia flight was taxiing for departure and struck a stationary Philippine Airlines aircraft. The Saudia aircraft’s wingtip made contact with the tail section of the parked plane.
All passengers on the departing Saudia flight were safely evacuated, and both aircraft are undergoing technical assessments for damage. Airport infrastructure and ground equipment were not affected.
