Toronto police are seeking the public's assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a threatening investigation. The incident occurred on June 20, at approximately 2:22 p.m., when officers responded to a call about a person with a knife in the area of Donlands and Mortimer Avenues. An altercation took place between the suspect and the victim, during which the suspect produced a knife, chased the victim, and swung the knife at them.
The suspect is also alleged to have threatened to harm or kill the victim's pet. A description of the suspect has been released, indicating that they are approximately 6-foot-1 with a thin build, black beard, and black hair. At the time of the incident, the suspect was wearing a grey striped shirt, black sweater, blue jeans, black sunglasses, and grey sneakers with white soles.

In a separate incident, a man was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after being found with stabbing injuries in the area of Sherbourne and Dundas Streets. The incident occurred on Wednesday at approximately 3:44 p.m., and a suspect was arrested. The police are currently investigating the incident and have not released any information about the suspect at this time.
