Bank Managers from Land Bank testified that the recent cash withdrawals conducted by the Office of the Vice President (OVP) and the Department of Education (DepEd) were unusual but not necessarily reportable to the Anti-Money Laundering Council. The defense declined to question these witnesses, stating that the witnesses' opinion on the transactions not affecting the case.
Two witnesses from the Commission on Audit (COA) and a House Legislative Information Resources Management Department Director will be testifying later. The trial will pause on August 3rd, with the House prosecution set to resume presenting evidence on the initial article of impeachment alleging misuse of public funds.
