Rockwell Land Corp. has increased its stake in Alabang Commercial Corp. to 99.26%, bringing the developer near‑full control of the company overseeing the long‑term redevelopment of Alabang Town Center.
The acquisition involved share purchase agreements with most of ACC’s remaining shareholders, securing 22.96% of the outstanding capital stock for a total of P6.2 billion.
With this transaction, Rockwell Land’s ownership rises from 76.3% to 99.26%, solidifying its command over the 17.5‑hectare Alabang Town Center property.
The move follows a 2025 purchase of a 74.8% stake in ATC for P21.6 billion, continuing the developer’s expansion into southern Metro Manila’s retail and mixed‑use market.
Rockwell Land plans to advance its redevelopment strategy for ATC, which began in June with upgrades to traffic flow, parking capacity, and tenant mix.
The long‑term vision is to transform the site into a suburban lifestyle destination over the next five to ten years, preserving its historic charm while adding vibrancy and experiential elements.
International architect Carlos Ott and local firm PRSP, led by Jun Rodriguez, have been commissioned to draft the master plan for the property.
The increased ownership stake is expected to bolster the redevelopment effort and strengthen the portfolio of premium integrated developments.
Following the announcement, shares in Rockwell Land fell 1.95%, closing at P2.52 each.
