A former dance judge recounted being attacked with a razor blade while returning home from a club at around two in the morning. He described the crime scene as "stinking hot" and the assault as sudden and violent.
After the incident, he returned to Paris, where he was strip‑searched by authorities. He said he had burn marks around his neck from the attack and had not shaved, describing himself as "a bit of a wreck." He recounted the search as exhaustive, searching "up my bottom, everywhere," and called the experience horrific.
The judge began his dancing career in the early twenties at the Lido de Paris, performing on the Champs‑Élysées. He later danced in the West End and across the UK before joining a televised dance competition.
He has shared other travel mishaps, including a hotel fire in Mombasa, Kenya, and a salmonella outbreak on a Nile cruise that left passengers ill.
Since June, he and his co-host have been hosting a podcast together.
