Fauci's Fifth Amendment Claim Triggers Daily Court Threats

Fauci's Fifth Amendment Claim Triggers Daily Court Threats

Dr. Anthony Fauci, the former director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, invoked his Fifth Amendment right 111 times during a recent Senate hearing, declining to answer questions about his role in the COVID‑19 response.

Senators argued that a presidential pardon does not protect an individual from state prosecution, noting that pardons apply only to federal offenses.

Alabama Senate candidate Tommy Tuberville announced plans to explore state‑level accountability for the deaths attributed to Fauci’s pandemic guidance, asserting that the pardon is irrelevant to state law.

Tuberville, a leading contender for governor, said he will urge state prosecutors to consider charges and encouraged Alabama residents to pursue civil claims, emphasizing the impact on local families.

He claimed that tens of thousands of Alabamians died under Fauci’s oversight and expressed a desire for continuous legal action against the former health official.

Florida’s Attorney General disclosed an investigation into possible violations of state law related to Fauci’s pandemic actions, focusing on what he knew, when he knew it, and any alleged misinformation.

The inquiry will examine both physical and financial harms experienced by Floridians and assess whether Fauci’s conduct exposes him to liability under state statutes.

Lt. Governor Jay Collins, also running for governor, voiced strong support for the investigation, citing concerns for families and school safety, and referenced his own experience with vaccine mandates.

Collins described the pandemic response as causing generational loss for businesses and criticized the recommendations issued by federal health officials.

The governor’s office declined to comment on whether similar actions will be pursued before the end of the current administration.

California’s Republican gubernatorial nominee announced a plan to create a COVID Accountability Commission, tasked with reviewing Fauci’s and state officials’ pandemic policies.

The proposed commission will investigate alleged pain, suffering, and cruelty resulting from what the nominee described as a disastrous public‑policy response.

No comment was received from Dr. Fauci regarding the ongoing investigations.
