Prince Harry, his wife Meghan, and their children Archie and Lilibet visited King Charles III and Queen Camilla at Highgrove House in Gloucestershire on Friday, marking the first meeting between the monarchs and the younger son in nearly four years.
The family reunion took place at the royal residence west of London, where the Sussexes had not seen the king and queen since September 2022.
Earlier that week, Harry was denied taxpayer‑funded police protection. He appealed the decision but lost in a court ruling in May 2025, a dispute that reportedly strained his relationship with his father.
Prior to the visit, Harry participated in an event connected to the Invictus Games, a sporting competition for injured veterans that he founded. He has served in the British Armed Forces, completing two front‑line tours in Afghanistan.
Since stepping back from royal duties in 2020 and relocating to the United States, Harry and Meghan have arranged private security for their family.
Archie and Lilibet had not seen the king and queen since the Platinum Jubilee celebrations in June 2022, and their last meeting with the monarchs was at the queen’s funeral in September 2022.
The gathering was private, and no photographs or details were released to the public.
