Controversy Erupts as Man Claims Vision for "Islamic Republic of New Yorkistan" with Islam as a Central Part of Family Life

The celebration of Egypt's victory over Australia in the 2026 FIFA World Cup turned into a heated debate after a popular Muslim streamer made a provocative statement.

Nicolas Kenn De Balinthazy, a 27-year-old New York City native, was filmed celebrating in the streets with a group of fans, but took his enthusiasm to a new level by declaring, "This is the Islamic Republic of New Yorkistan."

He went on to say, "Islam will be in every household, Inshallah [God willing]. The whole world is Muslim. Welcome to Mamdani's New York," referencing New York City's Democratic Mayor, the first Muslim to hold the office.

Close-up of the word "Islam" highlighted under a magnifying glass, emphasizing its significance in religious texts.

In a separate video posted on social media, Balinthazy shouted, "Allahu Akbar," Arabic for "Allah is the greatest," sparking widespread concern.

With the 25th anniversary of September 11th just around the corner, this declaration has raised eyebrows and ignited a debate about the role of Islam in modern society.

At first glance, leftism and Islam may seem like opposing ideologies – one promoting diversity and tolerance, the other built on a centuries-old doctrine of conquest and domination. However, a closer look reveals a common thread: a deep-seated hatred for the West and the United States of America.

😭

For many Muslims, democracy, freedom of speech, and freedom of religion are not ends in themselves, but rather means to an end – a temporary path to establishing a caliphate.

The fact that Balinthazy is so forthcoming about Islam's intentions has left many concerned about the potential consequences. In Islamic doctrine, Taqiyya allows believers to conceal their true intentions or beliefs when surrounded by non-Muslims. Could this be the explanation for Muslim public officials who claim to be tolerant and diverse?

As the debate rages on, one thing is clear: the stakes are high, and the consequences of ignoring this issue could be severe. With Balinthazy's declaration, the question on everyone's mind is: are we prepared to face the reality of Islam's intentions in our own backyard?
