Sports and leisure equipment manufacturer Technogym is showcasing its products at a pop-up exhibit in Power Plant Mall, Makati City. The Italian brand has supplied official fitness equipment for the Olympics and has operated in the Philippines since 2009.
Founded in 1983, Technogym initially focused on commercial gyms and hotels before expanding into the home fitness market. The company opened its first flagship store in Bonifacio Global City in 2023.
The pop-up, titled "Wellness in Focus," highlights Technogym's integrated wellness ecosystem. Featured products include the Connected Dumbbells priced at P300,000 and the Technogym Run treadmill at approximately P1 million.
The Connected Dumbbells enable strength training at home, while the Technogym Run offers biofeedback and advanced features for targeted training. The treadmill simulates natural terrain, supports high-intensity interval training, and includes sled-pushing functions for hybrid fitness competitions.
A Technogym Check-up station allows visitors to assess their fitness level and receive personalized training recommendations. The system generates statistics and insights that inform a tailored fitness plan.
All products connect to a centralized app that tracks steps, calories, and progress across devices. The platform can recommend weights for subsequent workouts and provide training programs for skiing, paddling, cycling, and half-marathons.
The Bench remains a best-selling item despite lacking smart technology. This multipurpose workout bench includes dumbbells and resistance bands and fits comfortably in compact living spaces.
The exhibit occupies the third floor of Power Plant Mall within Focus Global's retail space. Equipment displays and activations will rotate through July 31.
Walk-in visitors may test each station and consult with on-site wellness experts. Technogym's flagship store is located at Twenty-Five Seven McKinley Building in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.
