Bilt members can transfer Bilt Points to Qatar Airways Privilege Club. Now, eligible U.S.-issued Qatar Airways credit cardholders can earn 3 Avios per dollar on rent payments up to $50,000 per year processed through Bilt, amounting to up to 150,000 Avios per year.
This benefit is available to holders of the Qatar Airways Privilege Club Visa Signature Card and the Qatar Airways Privilege Club Visa Infinite Card.
Other airline credit cards offer different rewards. United Airlines cardholders earn 2 miles per dollar, and Alaska Airlines Atmos Rewards cardholders earn 3 points per dollar on rent payments via Bilt.
Bilt has not confirmed whether the standard 3% transaction fee applies to these Qatar Airways cards. If the fee is applied, the 3 Avios per dollar earning rate still delivers a return that exceeds the fee when Avios are valued at 1.4 cents each. The net benefit depends on the value of the earned Avios.
Whether this option is worthwhile depends on how the earned Avios can be redeemed and on other available rent payment methods. Bilt members should evaluate the potential benefits against the fee and their redemption preferences.
