The Management Association of the Philippines called on Congress to place governance reforms at the forefront of its agenda while simultaneously advancing policies that stimulate investment and job creation.
In a statement, the association’s president emphasized the need for a clear economic agenda that generates employment, attracts capital, enhances food security, reduces business costs, and restores confidence in the market.
MAP endorsed legislative initiatives aimed at curbing political dynasties, reforming the party‑list system, and increasing transparency across government operations.
The organization also urged the continuation of infrastructure spending, coupled with stronger oversight mechanisms to ensure public projects are executed efficiently and responsibly.
While condemning corruption, MAP stressed that punitive measures must not impede legitimate investments essential for sustained economic growth.
