Apple Requests Store Employees to Assist at iPhone Event

Apple Requests Store Employees to Assist at iPhone Event

Apple has introduced a lottery system for its U.S. retail staff, offering them the chance to participate in an upcoming event support program tied to the anticipated iPhone launch.

The initiative follows a long history of relying on retail employees to assist during major product releases, though this lottery format appears to be a new addition for the 2026 event.

Participants selected through the lottery will help manage lines, check in guests, greet attendees, provide directions, and support security teams—tasks similar to those performed during previous developer conferences.

The event is scheduled for the first half of September, with potential dates falling on either September 9 or September 15.

Apple is expected to unveil several new products, including the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max, the Apple Watch Series 12 and Ultra 4, and a new folding iPhone Ultra.
