Authorities in Midtown Manhattan evacuated a high-rise office building near Grand Central Terminal Tuesday morning due to concerns it was at risk of collapsing.
The New York Fire Department received a call at approximately 8 a.m. regarding falling bricks in the 200 block of East 42nd Street.
The building in question once housed offices for a major pharmaceutical company.
