Megawide Construction Corp.’s real estate subsidiary, PH1 World Developers, announced the completion of the structural framework for Tower 1 of Avesta Residences in Cavite, marking a key milestone in its involvement with the national 4PH housing program.
The tower was topped off in under ten months from the start of construction, a timeline the company attributes to its use of precast construction technology.
Chief Executive Officer Edgar B. Saavedra said the rapid topping‑off underscores the firm’s capacity to deliver projects through engineering expertise and precast methods, emphasizing the importance of a solid start.
Avesta Residences represents PH1 World Developers’ first project under the expanded 4PH initiative, a government‑backed effort that leverages public‑private partnerships to address the country’s housing backlog.
The beneficiary unit draw for Tower 1 was conducted in December 2025, confirming the project’s progress toward resident occupancy.
President Gigi G. Alcantara highlighted the essential role of stakeholder and government collaboration in bringing the development to fruition and expressed confidence in pursuing further 4PH projects.
Following the launch, PH1 World Developers has broadened its housing activities to include sites in Dasmariñas, Bacoor and Caloocan, expanding its regional footprint.
Megawide plans to extend horizontal housing developments in Cavite and Bulacan and is currently constructing roughly 11,000 units under the expanded 4PH program.
The company targets a 2026 net income of approximately P1.2 billion, driven by lower borrowing costs after debt reduction and continued growth in construction and real estate, while its shares closed at P4.24, up 0.47 percent.
