A driver and passenger narrowly escaped death after their car flipped on the M25 near Staines, with the vehicle's airbags deploying as it barrel-rolled before coming to rest on its side.
Police were called to the scene at around 5:40pm on Sunday, July 5, following a crash involving two vehicles.
Ambulance crews, firefighters, and National Highways officers attended the scene, with paramedics treating the two occupants of the overturned car.
Both patients were then taken to St Peter's Hospital in Chertsey for further checks, according to the South East Coast Ambulance Service.
Emergency responders worked quickly to secure the scene and ensure the safety of all parties involved.
The incident served as a sobering reminder of the dangers of driving and the importance of wearing seatbelts.
Fortunately, the driver and passenger were able to receive medical attention and were taken to a hospital for further evaluation.
