Amy Schumer is shining bright in recent photos on her Instagram account, showcasing her confidence and self-love.
The comedian-actress, 45, recently shared shots from a summer getaway, including some in a bikini and swim accessories.
“I never knew there would be days like this. No filter as per usual,” the Life & Beth star wrote, highlighting her newfound positivity.
She also shared a photo of herself dressed in a white strapless top and shorts alongside Friends pals Courteney Cox, Jennifer Aniston, and others.
Schumer quickly earned praise from friends and fans, with actress Kate Walsh commenting, “So beautiful, Amy. Happy and thriving.”
The actress has been open about her weight loss journey, which began after a diagnosis of Cushing syndrome in 2024 caused her face to swell up.
Last December, Schumer revealed she had lost 50 pounds, stating she did it to “survive” rather than to “look hot, which does feel fun and temporary.”
Schumer has also discussed her use of the GLP-1 Mounjaro medication, praising its effects in a video clip shared on Instagram.
“I wanted to share and keep it 100 with you, that years ago, I tried Wegovy and I was like puking,” Schumer said, sharing her previous struggles with medication.
She also detailed a new routine that includes hormones, stating, “They put me on estrogen and progesterone because I realized I was in perimenopause and my symptoms of being in perimenopause have disappeared.”
Schumer has been open about her health issues, including perimenopause and endometriosis, and has shared her struggles with medication in the past.
Despite her journey, Schumer remains positive and proud, writing earlier this year, “Pics of yourself when you’re finally feeling strong and beautiful are not a cry for help. They are a celebration of life and health.”
