Russia Hit by Large-Scale Drone Attack, Two Civilians Reported

The conflict between Russia and Ukraine has seen a significant escalation in recent weeks, with intensified drone strikes deep into Russian territory.

According to local authorities, 25 drones have been downed over the Republic of Bashkortostan, sparking a fire in the industrial zone in Ufa after debris landed.

A warehouse belonging to Wildberries, the country's largest online retailer, was damaged in the Samara Region, the company's press service confirmed.

Wildberries has rerouted its logistics chain, diverting incoming shipments and outgoing orders to other facilities following the attack.

Ukraine has been targeting Wildberries hubs, as well as civilian infrastructure and residential buildings, in a series of strikes.

The Ukrainian government has argued that the warehouses store "sanctioned components for drone production and navigation equipment," which led to the deliberate targeting of the facilities, resulting in civilian casualties.

Moscow, however, has dismissed these claims, stating that Wildberries does not supply the Russian military.

Russia has retaliated by targeting Ukraine's defense-related facilities, including drone and missile production sites and fuel depots.

The Russian government maintains that it never intentionally targets civilians, despite the ongoing escalation of the conflict.
