Chelsea Sets Asking Prices for Trio of Young Players

Chelsea's summer transfer window is heating up, with the Blues open to selling a string of players as they revamp their squad under new manager Xabi Alonso.

Signings have already been made, including Morgan Rogers, Maxence Lacroix, Marco Palestra, Valentin Barco, and Geovany Quenda, while veterans Danny Welbeck and Jordan Henderson have also joined the team.

However, there have been significant departures, with Marc Cucurella leaving for Real Madrid and Andrey Santos sold to Manchester United.

Chelsea have placed asking prices on a string of players they are happy to let go this summer, including Nicolas Jackson, who is being tracked by Aston Villa and is valued at £65m.

Jackson spent last season on loan at Bayern Munich but failed to cement a place in Chelsea's starting XI, scoring 30 goals in 81 appearances for the club.

Liam Delap is another forward who could be on the move this summer after an underwhelming first season at Stamford Bridge, with Chelsea hoping to make a profit on him after buying him from Ipswich Town for £30m last summer.

Delap was largely used off the bench, managing just two goals in 41 outings across all competitions.

Marc Guiu is another young striker who has failed to make an impact and is available for transfer after two years in west London, with the Blues wanting £25m for him.

The Spaniard has taken chances in European competition, scoring seven times in 10 outings, mainly in the Europa Conference League.

There are also likely to be more outgoings in defence, with Trevoh Chalobah's move to Como agreed, and Benoit Badiashile and Axel Disasi reportedly having price tags of £30m and £25m respectively.
