Atome Philippines has teamed with Chubb Philippines to introduce a new shopping insurance plan designed for cardholders.
The Atome Card Shield, priced at P62 per month, offers buyer and purchase protection, coverage against online shopping fraud and unauthorized transactions, and personal accident benefits.
Policyholders receive reimbursement up to the purchase value if an item fails to arrive, does not match its description, or is damaged or stolen within 30 days of purchase. Coverage also extends to purchases from fraudulent websites or fake sellers and protects against unauthorized use of the Atome Card.
In addition, the plan provides benefits for accidental death and permanent disablement, with payouts up to P150,000.
The product is available through the Atome app to users aged 18 to 75 who maintain good credit standing.
The launch reflects Atome’s commitment to expanding financial tools that are safe, accessible, and affordable for everyday consumers.
Chubb emphasizes the role of localized insurance solutions in bridging protection gaps for individuals and families in the Philippines.
With the availability of over three million Atome Cards, the partnership aims to make meaningful protection more attainable for a broad customer base.
