Ohio Senator Bernie Moreno has called on Rep. Max Miller to resign from Congress, citing concerns over the congressman's character and the safety of his family.
In a statement, Moreno claimed that Miller fails to meet basic standards of character required to hold elected office, stating that he should not serve in the House of Representatives.

Miller has categorically denied abusing Emily Moreno or their daughter, stating that no court or government agency has substantiated an allegation of abuse against him.
Miller's ex-wife has accused him of physically assaulting and threatening her during their marriage, including allegedly holding a gun to her head, and has also raised questions about how their daughter suffered a broken collarbone.
