The pipeline of public‑private partnership initiatives totals approximately P3.1 trillion, encompassing 249 projects that are at various stages of preparation as of early July.
In parallel, 303 partnership projects are already being implemented, representing a combined value of about P3.56 trillion.
Among the pipeline projects, 167 are slated for execution by the national government, accounting for P3.01 trillion, while local government units will oversee the remaining projects valued at roughly P133.34 billion.
Of the 249 projects, 198 have been solicited or initiated by the government; the balance originates from unsolicited proposals submitted by private sector entities.
Railway projects dominate the pipeline with an estimated worth of P1.97 trillion, followed by land‑transport initiatives valued at P277.82 billion and property‑development schemes at P219.01 billion.
The maritime sector contributes 45 projects, property development adds another 44, and information and communications technology accounts for 21 projects within the pipeline.
Geographically, 38 projects are concentrated in the National Capital Region, while Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon and Palawan each host 33 projects, and Central Luzon includes 31 projects.
In terms of progress, 221 projects worth P2.53 trillion remain in the preparation phase, 19 projects valued at P197.09 billion are undergoing approval, and nine projects with a combined value of P369.2 billion have entered the procurement stage.
