Rogan's Guest Accused of Murder

Rogan's Guest Accused of Murder

The Joe Rogan Experience has been at the center of a shocking revelation, with the host recounting an alleged murder that took place just a month after a former guest appeared on the podcast.

During a recent episode, Rogan recalled his 2024 interview with Sheldon Johnson, a self-proclaimed reformed criminal justice advocate who was arrested in the spring of the same year for allegedly shooting Collin Small dead in a New York City apartment.

Johnson, a convicted felon who served time for a series of armed robberies in 1999, was charged with second-degree murder after Small's dismembered body was discovered in Johnson's Harlem apartment.

Initial responders found Small's headless torso, with his dismembered feet located in a plastic bin, and further investigation revealed that Johnson had allegedly stashed the remains in multiple locations.

Rogan's revelation sparked a disturbing narrative, with the host recounting the alleged crime in graphic detail.

"We had a guy in the studio that cut a guy's head off after the podcast. He killed a guy and cut his head off," Rogan said, highlighting the gruesome nature of the crime.

At the time of his podcast appearance, Johnson was working as a client advocate for the public defender's office in Queens and had spoken about his goal of turning his life around.

Johnson's words of redemption seemed starkly at odds with the alleged crime, which saw him allegedly shoot Small, dismember his body, and attempt to evade capture in a series of disguises.
