The Philippine government has reported that at least 3,682 individuals, or more than 1,200 families, have been evacuated due to Tropical Depression Luis and the enhanced southwest monsoon.
The displaced individuals are among the total of 9,381 affected persons, or 7,701 families, affected by the two weather disturbances, according to the latest data.
The affected population is reported to be from Regions II, III, V, and IX, according to the Office of Civil Defense.
More than P1.2 million worth of assistance has already been provided to affected individuals, according to the Office of Civil Defense.
The Office of Civil Defense has not reported any casualties or property damage linked to Tropical Depression Luis and the enhanced southwest monsoon.
The 18 flooded areas in Regions I, IX, and the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region (BAR) have been identified as among the most affected by the weather disturbances.
The Office of Civil Defense has also identified 398 barangays in Region II, the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), and MIMAROPA as susceptible to flooding and landslides caused by heavy rains.
Heavy Rainfall Warnings remain in effect in several areas in Luzon, including Zambales, Bataan, Benguet, La Union, and Pangasinan, where intense rains are expected until Wednesday afternoon.
