Ayala Corp. Secures Spot on FTSE4Good Index Series

Ayala Corp. has been listed on the FTSE4Good Index Series for a twelfth consecutive year following the June 2026 review, with its subsidiaries ACEN Corp., Ayala Land, Bank of the Philippine Islands, and Globe Telecom also retaining their positions.

CEO Cezar P. Consing said the continued inclusion confirms the company’s belief that success can be achieved while doing good, emphasizing a focus on businesses that support communities and enhance lives.

FTSE Russell created the FTSE4Good Index Series to evaluate companies on environmental, social, and governance criteria.

The index is used by global investors to design and assess responsible investment funds and other products, assessing factors such as corporate governance, health and safety, anti‑corruption, and climate change.

Ayala Corp., Ayala Land, and BPI have been members since 2015, Globe since 2016, and ACEN since 2023.

Chief Social Infrastructure Officer Paolo F. Borromeo highlighted that the index offers investors and partners a benchmark for the company’s sustainability practices, reinforcing commitment to measurable and lasting progress in health, education, community development, and sustainability.

The conglomerate’s ESG initiatives have enabled access to sustainable financing, with about $6.9 billion secured by the end of 2025.

In May, Ayala Corp. entered into a $100 million sustainability‑linked loan facility with DBS Bank, its first Singapore dollar‑denominated hedged loan.

These efforts support the broader strategy of creating long‑term value while contributing to national development.

Shares of Ayala Corp. rose 0.62%, or P3, to close at P490 on the stock exchange.
