Reform deputy leader Richard Tice under parliamentary investigation

Reform deputy leader Richard Tice under parliamentary investigation

Deputy leader of Reform UK Richard Tice is the subject of an investigation by the Parliamentary Commissioner for Standards.

The probe, opened on July 28, examines an alleged failure to declare a relevant interest.

Officials say the issue stems from comments Tice made about Israel during a Westminster Hall debate, which were not accompanied by a proper declaration of interest.

At the same time, Reform UK leader Nigel Farage commenced a press conference, his first in several weeks, to outline new measures aimed at stopping small boats from crossing the English Channel.

The commissioner’s notice of the investigation was published on the official website today, marking the first public disclosure of the case.
