Homeowner Evicted After Mysterious Loft Disturbances Discovered

Homeowner Evicted After Mysterious Loft Disturbances Discovered

A 38-year-old man in Scotland has been forced to leave his top-floor flat due to a severe wasp infestation that has left him and his pets in agony.

Craig McDonald from Greenock said the trouble began two weeks ago when he noticed wasps in his bedroom, but the problem has become so bad that he can no longer enter the room.

The wasps, which have repeatedly stung him, his two dogs, and his cat, are believed to have entered the flat through cracks in the ceiling.

McDonald said the issue is having a serious impact on his health and he is worried about his pets.

He added that his landlord, Oak Tree Housing Association, has not dealt with the wasp nest in the roof space or removed the insects.

McDonald has temporarily gone to stay with his mum, fearing he may have to flee the property altogether until the infestation clears.

He said his landlord has contacted him to send pest control to his home again, but he warned them he would not be in, as he had been forced to leave for a period.

McDonald added that he is in agony from the stings and is worried about his pets, who do not understand what is happening to them.

In response, Oak Tree Housing Association said they are aware of the issue and are dealing with McDonald directly to resolve the matter as quickly as possible.
