Philippines-based MocaMoca Reaches 20 Million Users

The online lending platform MocaMoca has reached a significant milestone, surpassing 20 million users in the Philippines, five years after it started operations.

The platform's mission is to provide a simple, transparent, and borrower-centric lending experience, while maintaining the highest standards of responsibility and consumer protection, according to its CEO.

The borrower base of MocaMoca is comprised of more than 60% women, aligning with the platform's goal of serving underserved sectors, including those managing household and micro-enterprise finance.

The platform offers collateral-free loans of up to P50,000, which can be applied for through a digital process requiring only one valid government-issued identification.

MocaMoca features automated approvals around the clock, enabling fund disbursement in as fast as five minutes, and a structured credit growth path with scalable credit limits, transparent terms, and payday-aligned repayment cycles.

The platform is integrated with various payment services, including GCash, Maya, Coins.ph, and GrabPay, for loan disbursements and repayments.
