The Attorney General's office has confirmed that charges against a 33-year-old woman accused of sexually assaulting a young boy in a Toronto park have been dismissed by the court.
The alleged incident occurred on May 20 at Walter Saunders Park, located northeast of Dufferin St. and Eglinton Ave. W.
According to investigators, the six-year-old boy was at the park when the alleged assault took place.
Officers from the Child and Youth Advocacy Centre have been investigating the incident, and a suspect was arrested on June 8.
The accused, Ruby Eby, of Toronto, was charged with sexual interference with a person under 16 and sexual assault.
She is next scheduled to appear in court on July 21 at 1000 Finch Ave. W.
Police have alleged that investigators believe there may be other victims in this case.
