Tropical Storm Noul Claims 3 Lives, Affects Nearly 300,000 People

Tropical Storm Noul, locally named Kiyapo, has claimed three lives, according to the latest report. Affected individuals have risen to nearly 300,000, leaving a trail of destruction in its wake.

Two deaths are currently under validation, with a third fatality confirmed in Davao. A missing individual was reported in Sarangani, adding to the rising concerns.

The number of affected individuals due to Tropical Storm Noul has climbed to 295,066, translating to 63,606 affected families. Of those affected, 7,550 are taking shelter across 31 evacuation centers.

Damage to homes has been significant, with 671 houses reported as damaged. Of those, 425 were partially damaged, while 246 were totally destroyed.

Affected families have received over P10 million worth of assistance, according to the latest update. As the situation continues to unfold, authorities remain on high alert to provide support to those in need.
