MySpace Forms Strategic Partnership with Dimension Global

MySpace Properties has entered a partnership with Dimension Global Communications to manage its media relations, brand positioning, and stakeholder engagement across Kenya.

The agreement was formalised in Nairobi during a meeting between MySpace CEO Mwenda Thuranira and DGC CEO Koome Kazungu, during which Thuranira presented Kazungu with a copy of his recent book.

Under the contract, DGC will oversee five key areas: brand positioning and reputation management, media engagement and press services, content development and thought leadership, structured interaction with investors, buyers and regulators, and communication with the developer’s diaspora clientele.

The collaboration responds to a shift in the Kenyan property market, where prospective buyers increasingly scrutinise a developer’s track record before committing.

“Real estate is a trust business long before it is a transaction,” Thuranira said, emphasizing that clear communication is essential to explain, defend and honour the promises made to clients.

MySpace Properties is also preparing to expand beyond Kenya, targeting the broader East African market driven by rising cross‑border demand and an active diaspora investor base.

“Our clients are no longer thinking in national terms, and neither are we,” Thuranira noted, highlighting the need for the company’s name to travel alongside its marketing materials.

Kazungu said the mandate reflects a growing demand among developers for professional communication counsel rather than mere transactional publicity.

He added that the property sector has outpaced its storytelling, and that buyers today are more informed and skeptical, requiring clear and consistent messaging.

Kenya’s real estate industry has faced heightened public scrutiny following disputes over stalled projects and off‑plan sales, placing a premium on transparent developer communication and verifiable delivery records.

Industry observers note that credible developers are increasingly formalising how they engage the market instead of relying solely on seasonal advertising campaigns.

Over the past decade, MySpace Properties has become a prominent player in Kenya’s property market, with a portfolio that includes residential and commercial developments and a significant diaspora client base.

Thuranira has emerged as a leading voice in the sector, combining business leadership with authorship and public commentary on property investment.

Both executives indicated that the partnership will extend beyond publicity to include structured stakeholder engagement, investor briefings, diaspora outreach, and thought‑leadership content aimed at elevating public discourse on property investment.

DGC will also support MySpace’s regional visibility as the developer builds toward an East African footprint.
