IWG Expands Presence with Five New Workspace Centers Amid Growing

International Workplace Group (IWG) announced the launch of five new flexible workspace locations in the Philippines, including its first dedicated healthcare and wellness hub.

The Humanly APECO Super Health Center in Casiguran, Aurora, marks the debut of the Humanly format in the country, offering facilities tailored for medical, therapy, wellness, beauty, and fitness practitioners.

Additional openings comprise HQ Plaza Helena on Panglao Island, Regus Island Central Mactan in Lapu‑Lapu City, Regus Savya Financial Center in Arca South, Taguig, and Regus Alveo Park Triangle Tower in Taguig.

IWG aims to increase its national footprint to 76 flexible workspace centers by year‑end, planning 29 new sites to meet rising demand for hybrid and flexible work environments.

Country manager Rowena Natividad highlighted a shift away from capital‑intensive fixed offices, noting that businesses now prefer to allocate resources to people, products, and growth while outsourcing workspace management.

She added that demand is expanding beyond major cities to suburbs, smaller communities, and rural areas as employees seek work locations closer to home.

Recent research indicates that more than 83 % of chief executive officers have adopted policies allowing flexible work across multiple locations, and 82 % of organizations in the Philippines operate under hybrid models.

The Humanly APECO Super Health Center provides private consultation rooms, therapy suites, treatment areas, and reception facilities, eliminating the need for upfront investment and long‑term lease commitments for healthcare providers.

Natividad said the new center reflects the evolving role of flexible workspace platforms, which are becoming essential infrastructure that supports growth in healthcare, enterprise services, and regional development.

In 2025, IWG signed 1,132 locations and opened 782 new centers, its largest annual expansion to date, serving a majority of Fortune 500 companies.

Globally, the IWG network now encompasses over one million rooms across 120 countries.
