Milton has announced the voluntary withdrawal of its baby bottle cleaner from the market after discovering a potential safety issue with certain batches.
The company stated that it has carried out laboratory microbiological testing in accordance with ISO standards, concluding that there is no risk to infants’ health or safety from the product.
The cleaner, which has been sold in major supermarkets for roughly £3, is currently unavailable while the company works to address the concern.
Milton said it is collaborating closely with retailers to restore supply as quickly as possible and apologized for any inconvenience caused.
Consumers who already own the product are not required to discontinue use or return it, but are encouraged to contact customer service for further information.
Affected batches include 6030 1103M (expiry 01/2029), 6077 1103M (expiry 03/2029), 6110 1103M (expiry 04/2029), 6111 1103M (expiry 04/2029), 6112 1103M (expiry 04/2029), and 6133 1103M (expiry 05/2029).
The recall reflects Milton’s commitment to product safety and consumer confidence while the company resolves the issue.
