Consequently, he declared Jordan the clear choice for the title of greatest of all time.
The comments were made while the President announced a new initiative to expand American nuclear energy. The briefing included the Secretary of Energy, the Secretary of the Interior, the Office of Science and Technology Policy Director, and representatives from the nuclear industry.
The administration highlighted a pilot program for advanced reactors launched under a May 2025 executive order, noting that three cutting‑edge reactors had reached construction and criticality by early July. Officials described the effort as one of the most ambitious nuclear goals in history, noting that the last privately funded reactor design to achieve criticality occurred in 1974.
