U.S. Central Command released footage showing Navy warships and fighter aircraft operating in the Arabian Sea and adjacent Middle Eastern waters, highlighting an expanded military presence in the region.
The display follows a recent escalation, in which U.S. forces carried out airstrikes against Iranian targets after Iran attacked several commercial vessels transiting the Strait of Hormuz earlier this week.
President Trump announced the termination of a ceasefire agreement, citing Iranian attacks on U.S. positions in Kuwait and Bahrain as justification for renewed operations, and warned of additional strikes that night.
In remarks to reporters, the President characterized Iran as hostile and asserted that U.S. forces could quickly disable Iranian infrastructure, including bridges and power-generating facilities, if required.
Centcom reported that more than 20 U.S. Navy warships are currently patrolling the region, describing the deployment as a measure to maintain security and stability.
The administration indicated that further military action against Iran is imminent, with the President emphasizing an upcoming “hard” strike.
