Paul McNally, a close friend and former lover of Sarah Ferguson, has passed away at the age of 88. A friend described his death as "good news" given his fragile health in recent times.
McNally was a well-known figure in British motorsport. Born in Gravesend, Kent, he attended Stoneyhurst College before going on to work alongside F1 icon Bernie Ecclestone. His impressive property portfolio included a significant estate in Wiltshire, a property in St Tropez, and a grouse moor in Scotland.
McNally's family has been hit hard by tragedy in recent months. His son Sean passed away suddenly just two months ago, and it is believed that this may have occurred at the family's Scottish estate. McNally's extensive property holdings also included several chalets in the Swiss ski resort of Verbier, one of which was reportedly known as "Cocaine Castle".
Ferguson had a close relationship with McNally, who had once proposed to her before she began a relationship with the former Prince Andrew. The two remained close throughout their lives, with Ferguson seeking solace in Verbier after being advised to make her own living arrangements following the Jeffrey Epstein scandal.
