Clicking the link leads to a counterfeit website that closely resembles the legitimate service. The page requests the user’s login credentials, followed by credit card number, address, and phone number—information that scammers can use to make unauthorized purchases.
One victim reported seeing a charge of more than $600 on their card within minutes of entering their details. The rapid appearance of the fraudulent transaction underscores the urgency scammers create to prompt quick action.
Although the email and site mimic the brand’s visual identity, several red flags betray the deception. The sender’s address and URL are not linked to the official domain, the subject line is written entirely in lowercase, and the message lacks any specific information about the user’s subscription or account.
