Paddy Doherty, a former professional boxer, has publicly challenged reality TV personality Mark Wright to a sparring match.
The animosity appears to trace back to their first encounter at a major awards ceremony in 2011, where a negative first impression reportedly sparked a lasting rivalry.
Doherty stated he would love to face Wright in the ring, describing the latter as cocky and arrogant, and asserted that despite the age difference he could knock him out in the first round.
Wright has not commented on the challenge, and there is no record of him addressing Doherty’s remarks.
Doherty also mentioned former model Calum Best as a potential opponent, recalling their collaboration on a 2012 reality series.
Meanwhile, Wright is adjusting to life as a new father following the birth of his daughter, Palma, in March 2025.
